  1. Provide 750 gms Sella rice
  2. Get Whole spices (bay leaves, cinnamon, black pepper,cumin)
  3. Take Salt as required
  4. Get 1 kg chicken

  6. You need 1 cup oil
  7. Get 1.5 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  9. Provide 2 medium chopped onion

  12. Take 4 tomatoes chopped
  13. You need 1/2 bunch coriander leaves
  14. Use 1/4 bunch mint leaves
  15. Use 1 packet Tikka masala
  16. Use 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  17. Use 1/4 tsp Jaifal jawatri powder
  18. Prepare 1 cup yougurt
  19. Provide 1 tbsp kewra water
  20. You need Few drops Yellow colour
  21. Provide 1 tsp cumin seeds
  22. Take 6 Cloves
  23. Prepare 4 cardamon
  24. Prepare 2 star anise
Steps to make Chicken Tikka Biryani:
  1. Soaked Sella rice for 2 hours then boil with whole spices and salt. Don't boil completely.
  2. Now for the gravy heat oil add chopped onion and fry them until light golden colour now add whole spices mentioned above.
  3. Add chicken, ginger garlic paste, tikka masala, tomatoes and bhunify it well.
  4. Add water so chicken cooks completely.
  5. Now add potatoes, garam masala, Jaifal jawatri powder, green chilli and mix well
  6. Cook for about 10 mins.
  7. Now add brown onion and yougurt and bhunify it well until oil comes on top.
  8. Turn off flame.
  9. Take pateeli add 2 tbsp oil or ghee,add half of the rice and biryani masala,coriander, mint leaves and again rice.
  10. Now mix kewra water with orange food colour.
  11. And pour over the rice and add 2 tbsp ghee on top.
  12. Place your rice on dum for about 15 mins.
