  6. You need 1/4 tsp fenugreek/methi
  7. Take 1/2 tsp nigella seeds/kalonji

  10. Get 1/2 tsp dry mango powder /amchur powder
  11. You need 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  12. Use 2 pinch hing/asafoetida

Steps to make Tilwale Achari Aloo:
  1. Boil pototoes and remove the skin, and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida and cumin seeds and once it splutter add all the seeds til, saunf,mustard seeds, Nigella seeds and fenugreek seeds and sauté for 20 seconds.
  3. Add onion and once it becomes translucent add ginger garlic paste and fry for one minute.
  4. Add boiled potatoes and stir fry until it is completely coated on a medium flame till pototoes look crispy with a golden texture.
  5. Now add red chilli powder, dry mango powder and salt and stir nicely till it completely blends for 30 seconds.
  6. Sprinkle some roasted white sesame seeds, garnish with coriander leaves and - Serve hot with rotis or rice.
