Steps to make Paneer Stuffed Chickpeas Kofta:
  1. Soaked 1 cup chickpeas overnight in water. Next day boil it in cooker with salt.
  2. Once chickpeas boiled then drained out the water and griend it into smooth paste. Then add chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, cinnamon powder, salt as per taste, ginger paste, chopped coriander, gram flour and cornflower into chickpeas paste and mix all properly. Make a dough.
  3. Keep the chickpeas dough handy.
  4. Now cut the paneer into square shape and marinate it with salt and turmeric powder. Then lightly fry all the paneer.
  5. Now make a ball from chickpeas dough and stuffed one fried paneer into it and cover it. Repeat the process with remaining dough.
  6. Once all kofta are ready, fry it till golden brown color.
  7. Now make a paste with 1/2 onion, 2 green chillies, 4 cloves of garlic, 1/2 spoon fennel seeds, 5 cashew nuts and keep it ready for gravy.
  8. Then prepare the gravy. In the same pan add oil, once oil heat then add cuming seeds and chopped onions. Cooked it for 2 minutes. Then add coriander, cuming, red chilli and cinnamon powder. Add salt as per taste, 1 spoon ginger paste and sugar. Mix well. Then add tomato paste.
  9. Mix well and cooked it for 5 minutes. Then add onion and cashew mixture into it and mix all. Cooked it for another 5 minutes then add water.
  10. Once water boil and becomes semi thick then add the kofta on it. Gravy becomes dry then garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
