  1. Wash & clean the mutton or chicken pat dry. Marinate the chicken or mutton  with all the above ingredients of marination. Keep it for 30 mins.Leave some fried onions, ghee for garnishing
  2. Wash the rice. Boil the water in a pan add the whole spices, oil, lemon juice & salt. Rice should be 3/4 cooked. Strain and keep aside
  3. Then cook the marinated meat or chicken till the meat is tender do not add water.When the gravy is thick off the gas
  4. Grease a pan layer first with rice then the full gravy,again spread rice.
  5. Add saffron colour on top,fried onions & ghee
  6. Cover the pan with aluminium foil and then with lid.keep this on a tawa on high flame first fr 10 mins then 15 to 20 mins on low flame.
