There is hope. Kids need some additional encouragement and guidance alongside some of the strategies your child is sure to consume healthy.
Be a gatekeeper.
It is very likely the simplest way to get your children to eat healthy is to eliminate the less-healthy alternatives. Take control over what foods and snack options are in your dwelling. If a child is hungry they’ll eat it whenever there isn’t another alternative. Have you ever heard of a child starving to death as his parents would not feed him potato chips?
Maintain healthy food in sight.
As for those less-than-good-for-you foods, maintain them high cabinets and out of your kid’s reach. Organize your fridge and cabinets to ensure healthy foods will be the first foods that you see. Make healthy food convenient.

Take a fruit basket in eye level in the counter at all times or have a container with carrots and celery sticks prepared to go from the fridge. You may be surprised at how many more fruits and vegetables your kid will eat simply by using them visible and easy to grab.
Make learning about food fun.
Taking some of the mystery from where foods come from may work wonders for some selective eaters. Select a vegetable garden as a family project and set your kid responsible for watering and picking the ripe vegetables. Kids who are involved are more inclined to be a willing player during the eating procedure.
Keep an eye on Portion sizes.
Parents often stress over how much their kids should be eating. Whether you are attempting to acquire a discerning eater to have a bite of anything green or restrict the quantity of dessert your sweet-toothed kid needs watching portions is essential.
