- Provide 250 gm beetroot

- Wash, clean and chop the beetroot finely. In a microwave safe glass bowl take the chopped beetroot and turmeric powder. Mix properly. Cook at 180℃ for 5 minutes. This cooking saves time and beetroot is more than half cooked. Take a kadhai. Heat ghee. Splutter cumin. Add chilli and hing. Sauté. Mix the dal and cook for 1 minute. Now and curry leaves.
