The ingredients needed to make Fish Koliwada:
- Take 500 gms king fish pieces/fillets
- Take 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Provide 1 tsp carom seeds powder(ajwain)
- Get 1 tsp fennel seeds powder(sauf)

- You need 100 gms besan(chickpeas flour)

- Wash fish peices and drain all the water well. Apply salt, termeric and lemon juice. Keep aside atleast for 20 minutes.
- Mix together besan, tamarind pulp, ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Add all dry ingredients and form a lump free paste.
- Apply the prepared paste on fish pieces and coat it well. Leave it marinating for minimum one hour.
- In a frying pan shallow fry them in medium heat on both the sides until they are crispy. While frying add few curry leaves, that will add to the flavours.
