- STEP:1 At first for making rice pancakes batter,we have to mix rice flour,all purpose flour,and Jaggery solution in hot water, little bit milk in it with a pinch of salt.The batter should not too thick or too thin for pancakes. After mixing it well without any lumps,leave it for rest for 30 minutes.
- STEP:2 For making khoya khir,take a kadhai/pan on low medium flame and pour 1Ltr milk in it.stir continuosly,add crushed cardamom. After milk reduced to half of the actual quantity,we should add 2spoonsfull of desi ghee and 50gms of date palm jaggery. After 10 mins,add instant milk powder to it and mix well.After a while it turned into kheer consistency (neither too thick nor thin).switch off the gas and leave it for cooling.
- STEP:3 Take a tawa on low medium heat, apply little bit oil/ghee(make sure the amount of oil/ghee is little), spread all over the tawa and pour adequate amount of rice pancakes batter and make it a round shape,after one side cooking,apply adequate amount of khoya kheer to it in the middle of the pancakes, now turnes the pancakes to make rolls using hands. your delisious patishapta pitha is ready to eat..
