  1. First wash and peel the apple., cut in big chunks and put in lemon water (squeeze lemon in a glass of water) immediately
  2. Take out of lemon water and blend in a mixture blender to smooth pulp
  3. Cut almonds and cashews in half..crush a few almonds for sprinkling and keep aside
  4. Take a non stick pan and pour clarified butter/ ghee and add apple pulp and milk.. Cook it for a while at medium to low heat while stirring.. Add sugar, mava /khoya and cook till all the moisture evaporated and halwa start releasing oil..add half of the dry fruits and give a good mix(keep half for garnishing)
  5. Your apple halwa is done.. Dish it out in a cut serving bowl and garnish with dry fruits and rose petals
  6. Serve instantly
