  1. Use 12-15 dates soaked for an hour pitted and pureed
  2. Provide 150 gram paneer crumbled (I used Amul paneer)
  3. You need 1 tbsp ghee
  4. You need 2-3 tbsp milk powder
  5. Provide 1/3 cup milk
  6. Provide pinch salt
  7. Take 1 tbsp rose water
  8. You need 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  9. Provide 1 tbsp tutti frutti (option)
  10. You need 1 tbsp Chopped pistachios to garnish
  11. Provide 1 tsp dry rose petals
Instructions to make Dates Kalakand:
  1. In a non-stick pan, add all the above-mentioned ingredients (except tutti frutti, pistachios and dry rose petals).
  2. Mix everything well and simmer on a low flame.
  3. Keep stirring continuously……
  4. Now you can add the tutti frutti (which is purely optional).
  5. Keep stirring again……
  6. ….. till the moisture is all absorbed.
  7. Switch off the flame & transfer to a greased plate. Garnish with chopped pistachios & dry rose petals. Allow it to cool & refrigerate for some time.
  8. Cut as desired & enjoy at room temperature or chilled. Note - - I have added some tutti frutti, but you may omit it and make it completely sugar free.
