  2. Take oil in a pressure cooker add Mustard seeds and peanuts and asafoetida,turmeric powder and saute. Add veggies, red chilli powder and garam masala and mix well
  3. Add dal, Soaked rice, tamrind pulp, jaggery, salt and 2-3 cups of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Note: water and dal quantity is more than rice in proportion to make the rice in flowing batter consistency.
  4. Ready to serve with ghee..
