- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and cloves to it. Wait till the cumin seeds crackle. Then add ginger, garlic and green chillies paste to it. Then add chopped onions and tomatoes and half of the spices to it. Saute well. Cover the lid and cook for 10 mins under low flame.
- Now add the cooked daal into the pan. Add the rest of the spices to the dal. Add garam masala, lemon juice and mix well. Cover the lid and cook for 10 mins.
