- In a pan heat oil, once oil heats add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing.let them crackle then add onion and saute for 2 -3 mins until it change it colour slightly.add ginger and saute for a min.
- Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies and salt.cover it and cook for few mins.on low to medium heat until tomatoes gets soft.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder stir well.add chopped fenugreek leaves and saute well.cook for few mins.then add boiled dal and mix well.
- Add required water and cook for few more minutes.add garam masala powder and fresh coriander mix well and switch off the heat.
