  1. Take a bowl. Add some oil and add ingredients for tempering, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste.
  2. Saute all the veggies, add little turmeric and close the lid. After some add little water and keep it on stove until all Veggies are cooked well.
  3. Add dal and tamarind pulp into the cooked veggies and wait till it get one boil.
  4. Now add salt,1 tbsp chilli powder,1/2 tsp pepper powder,1tbsp coriander powder,1 1/2 tbsp sambar powder. Mix it well and finally add finely chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Andhra style sambar is ready to serve. You can have it with hot steam rice or dosa.
