- Use 5 pods crushed garlic

- You need 1 tbsp flour
- Use 1 cup vegetable stock
- Take 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Use 1 tbsp thyme
- Use to taste Salt
- Take 2 tbsp butter
- Take For Herbed rice
- Take 1 cup Cooked rice
- Use 1/2 sticl butter
- You need 1 tbsp oregano
- Take 1 tbsp basil
- You need 1 tbsp pepper
- Get 1 tbsp chilli flakes
- Prepare For the stuffed tomatoes
- Prepare 2 firm tomatoes, the seeds scooped out
- Prepare 2 tbsp peas
- Prepare 2 tbsp corn
- Use 3 tbsp bread crumbs
- Use 1 pinch oregano
- Take 1 pinch thyme
- You need to taste Salt and pepper
- Take 5 tbsp grated cheese
Steps to make Continental Platter:
- Heat butter in a pan, add the chopped onion and garlic and saute. Then add the veggies and let them cook al dente
- Now add the flour and the seasonings like thyme, chilli flakes and mix well. Add the Worcestershire sauce and the vegetable stock and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for 5 mins.
- Take it off the pan and add the cream slowly so that it does not curdle. Infact add a ladle of the boiling liquid to the cream and mix well before you add, that way temperature difference is minimised.
- For the rice - Heat butter,add all the seasoning and then toss the rice in it.
- For the stuffed tomatoes - scoop out the seeds of the tomatoes and set aside. In a bowl mix the corn, peas, bread crumbs, seasoning and grated cheese and stuff it into the tomatoes.
- Bake at 180 degree Celsius for 20 mins.
- Serve hot with some potato wedges.
