- You need 2 tbsp fresh tomato puree

Steps to make Chole Ki Sabzi:
- Firstly take a pressure cooker, add washed chana, salt & chana dal.
- Add 4 cups of water, place the lid, give 8-10 whistles at high flame.
- Remove it from the flame, let it cool down, keep aside. Do not strain.
- Take a wok, add oil, heat it.
- Add chopped ginger & whole garam masala, saute it for a while.
- Add ginger garlic paste now, add lil water also, saute it for a while.
- Now add onion paste, add lil water, stir fry it for a while.
- Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till brown.
- Add tomato puree & salt, stir fry it till oil separates.
- Now add haldi powder, dhania powder & red chilli powder, add lil water, stir fry it till oil separates.
- Add garam masala powder, stir it.
- Increase the flame, add chole, stir it for a while. Add water if required.
- This dish doesn't require a runny gravy.
- Place the lid, give 4-5 whistles.
- Switch off the flame, allow to cool down.
- Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
- Have it with paratha or rice.
