  1. Take 1 1/2 cup Cooked Rice
  2. You need 1/2 cup Sesame Seeds / Til
  3. Get ¼ cup Curry Leaves
  4. Provide 3 tsp Chana Dal / Split Chickpeas
  5. You need 3 tsp Urad Dal / Black Gram
  6. Take 7 to 8 small (less spicy) Dry Red Chillies
  7. Get 2 tablespoon Oil
  8. You need 1/2 tsp Asafetida / Hing
  9. Provide 1/2 tablespoon Salt
  10. Take 2 tsp Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee
  11. You need as required Cashew for Garnishing
Instructions to make Sesame Rice | Ellu Sadam:
  1. In a heating pan, take 3 tsp of Chana Dal, 3 tsp of Urad Dal, few small less spicy Dry Red Chillies, ½ cup of Sesame Seeds (Til), 7 to 8 Curry Leaves and roast for 4 to 5 min or until light brown and gets aroma.
  2. Then allow the mixture to cool down completely and then grind into fine powder.
  3. In another preheated pan, take 2 tablespoon of Oil, ½ tsp of Hing, few Curry Leaves, 1 ½ cup of boiled and cooked Rice and ½ tsp of Salt, blended Sesame Seeds powder and mix well for 3 to 4 Mins.
  4. Lastly add 2 tsp of Ghee and mix well.
  5. Garnish with some Cashews (Kaju) and serve hot.
