  3. In a kadai heat 2 tblspn ghee or oil. Add 1 t spn of cumin seeds, 1 t spn of musterd seeds and two dried red chilli and bay leaves. Let it splutter. Add chopped onion. Fried a little then add the chopped tomato.
  4. Now add the pre mixed spices and cook on low to medium heat till the raw smell gone. When the tomatoes become soften and you can see the oil releasing from the side add the boiled dal. Add water and salt as required and cook it for 5 to 7 mins on medium flame.
