- Wash and soak all dals for 10 minutes.Take in a pressure cooker,add salt and water.Pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame and for 5-6 whistle on medium -low flame.Let pressure release.
- Meanwhile heat a pan,add ghee/oil and add onion,ginger-garlic paste.Cook for 1 minute on low flame.Add all spices and cook till oil separates.
- Add tomato puree,add water and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.Add cooked dal.Mix well.Adjust salt as per taste.
- Heat ghee in a pan for tampering,add all the ingredients mentioned for tampering.Saute for 10-12 seconds and pour over dal.
