  1. Firstly, in a large bowl take wheat flour, salt, baking powder and ghee.
  2. Mix well making moist dough
  3. Pinch a small ball sized dough and roll with x impression.
  4. Place the rolled bati in each mould of appe pan
  5. Cover and cook on 30 minutes low flame all sides
  6. Dip the bati in ghee for more soft bati from inside.
  7. In a pressure cooker take moong dal, masoor dal and chana dal.
  8. Pressure cook for 4 whistles adding 1 tsp ghee and 3 cup water.
  9. Now in a large kadai heat 2 tsp ghee and splutter 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp cumin and pinch hing.
  10. Add 1 onion followed by 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 green chilli. saute well. And add tomato saute
  11. Add masala and saute low flame
  12. Add in cooked dal, 1 cup water and mix.simmer and boil for 5 minutes or till dal absorbs masala.
