  1. You need 8 pieces Hilsa fish
  2. You need 1 chopped onion
  3. Prepare 8 garlic cloves
  4. Get 4 green chillies

  1. Make a paste with chillies, mustard seeds, salt, curd - Marinate the fish with little salt and turmeric powder, keep aside for 10 minutes, then heat oil in a kadhai place the fish fry till light brown colour on both sides, but don't fry over more than one to two minutes. Keep it aside.
  2. In the same oil add cumin seeds, chilli, cook for one minute then add onion, tomato cook again for 3 minutes, add salt to taste, turmeric powder, add mustard paste with 2 cups of water,
  3. Then add fried fish, coriander leaves, sugar in it cook for 2 minutes, serve with hot rice.
