- Provide 1 cup besan/chickpea flour
- Prepare 1/4 cup fine semolina/rawa
- Get 1 cup fresh or frozen green peas

- Prepare 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Get 10-15 curry leaves
- Get 2-3 slit green chillies
- Prepare 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Use as needed For garnishing- coriander leaves
Instructions to make Green Dhokla:
- Firstly puree the green peas, parboiled palak, coriander with a little water.
- Mix together the besan, rawa, pea puree, salt, ginger, chilli paste, yogurt and salt into a smooth batter.
- Prepare the steamer and preheated them.
- Now add the fruit salt or eno to the batter. Pour the remaining water over it and mix well.
- It should start getting frothy. Grease a shallow vessel that fits inside the steamer and add the batter on it.
- Place the vessel in the steamer and steam on medium flame for 12-15 minutes.
- Insert a knife in the middle and if it is comes clean it is done.
- Turn off the flame and allow it to rest for around 2-4 mins. Then remove slowly and cut into desired shape.
- For tempering:- heat the oil in a pan add the mustard seeds. Once they splutter add sesame seeds, curry leaves and chilli and saute for 20 seconds.
- Pour over this tempering on the dhoklas. Garnish with fresh coconut, coriander leaves.
