Most of us have a fairly good idea about what healthy eating is: lots of fruits and vegetables and not too much fat and glucose. Nevertheless, in regards to kids, knowing what is healthy is only the beginning. And even in the event that you keep’healthy' it does not imply your kid will eat it.
There is hope. Children need some additional encouragement and advice along with a few of the strategies your kid is sure to consume healthy.
Make a gatekeeper.
It’s very likely that the simplest way to get your kids to eat healthy is to eliminate the less-healthy options. Take control on what meals and snack options are in your home. If a kid is hungry they’ll eat it when there isn’t an alternative. Have you ever heard of a kid starving to death since his parents wouldn’t feed him potato chips?
Keep healthy food in sight.
As for those less-than-good-for-you foods, maintain them high cabinets and out of your kid’s reach. Arrange your refrigerator and cabinets so that healthy foods are the first foods that you see. In the event you choose to have some unhealthy choices in the home keep them from sight and you and your kids will be not as inclined to choose them as a option.
Make healthy meals convenient.
Wholesome foods, particularly fruits and vegetables need little preparation that’s great for your’starving' kid and you. You may not be aware of how many more fruits and vegetables that your kid will consume only by having them visible and easy to grab.
Make learning about food fun.
Prepare family meals together, have your child mix the ingredients and serve the meals to the remainder of the family. Select a vegetable garden for a family endeavor and put your kid in charge of watering and picking the ripe vegetables. Children who are involved are more inclined to be a willing participant in the eating procedure.
Keep Your Eye on Portion dimensions.
Parents frequently stress over how much their children should be eating. Whether you are trying to get a discerning eater to take a bite of anything green or restrict the sum of dessert your sweet-toothed kid wants watching portions is necessary. Knowing the size of a healthy portion will give you some fundamental perspective.
Set a healthy example.
Keep in mind that eating meals together isn’t only a wonderful way to catch up on your household’s day it’s also the perfect time to role-model healthy eating habits. Kids learn by watching their parents…That’s food for thought!
We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to hyderabadi aaloo gosht recipe. To make hyderabadi aaloo gosht you only need 11 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve that.
The ingredients needed to make Hyderabadi Aaloo Gosht:
- You need 500 gm Mutton
- Use 3 large Potatoes
- You need 1 tbsp Salt
- Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Use 2 tsp Red chilli powder
- You need 1 tsp Cumin powder
- Provide 1 tsp Coriander powder
- You need 2-3 Onions sliced
- Take 3-4 Green Chillies slit
- Use 1/4 cup Coriander leaves finely chopped
- Use 3-4 tbsp Oil
Steps to make Hyderabadi Aaloo Gosht:
- Heat Oil in a pressure cooker. Saute the Onions first along with the Ginger garlic paste on a low heat. Saute it until the raw smell of the onions fade away. Simultaneously add in the spices to the Mutton bone-in pieces and mix well. Set aside until use.
- Now as soon as the Onions turn translucent and are almost done, add in the marinated Mutton bone-in to the pressure cooker. Let it cook on a medium high heat for 5 minutes before closing the lid of the cooker. Add minimum water only. Pressure cook for 6-7 whistles or more accordingly.
- In the meantime, cut Potatoes into medium sized cubes. You can either deep fry them and add to the meat in the cooker. Or can directly add to it. The taste and texture will definitely differ a lot. I have done it both the ways until now. But this particular one here is without deep frying. I have directly added them. After the pressure settles down, add Potato cubes to it along with the slit Green chillies. Cover and simmer until the Potatoes are done.
- Garnish with finely chopped Coriander leaves. Adjust Salt according to taste. Also add a pinch of Garam masala just before serving. The gravy should be semi thick. It goes well with Parathas, Naans, Chapatis and Hyderabadi Baghara Khaana. Enjoy!
