- Take 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- Provide 4 tbsp oil
- Use Pinch asafoetida
- You need 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

- Take 1 tsp coriander cumin powder

Steps to make Zunka (Jhunka):
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Once they splutter add asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies and garlic. Saute for a few seconds.
- Add onions and saute it till it becomes translucent.
- Then add dry spices and saute it for a couple of seconds.
- Now its time to add gram flour, mix and saute it on a slow flame for 2-3 minutes or till it becomes aromatic.
- Further more, sprinkle warm water gradually. Do not add more, otherwise, it will become lumpy
- Cover and cook on a slow flame for 2-3 minutes. It will cook properly. Finally, add coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
- Serve hot with bhakar.
