The ingredients needed to cook Lauki Gosht:
- Prepare 1/2 kg Bottle Ground (Kaddu) ½ kg Beef
- Prepare 1 large size Onion, sliced 1 large Tomato
- Get 1 tbsp. Ginger Garlic paste 4-5 green chilies
- Prepare 5-6 tbsps. Cooking Oil (or ghee) Salt to taste
- You need 1 tsp Red chili powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala 1 ½ tbsp Coriander and Cumin powder
- You need 2-3 glass Water
Instructions to make Lauki Gosht:
- Cut onion, tomato and chop ginger and garlic
- Cut the Bottle Ground into pieces as shown in the picture. Put it in a pot, add water and let it cook for 5-10 minutes. This will reduce the cooking time.
- Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker; add onions and shallow fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Stir in the ginger and garlic paste and tomatoes and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add salt, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, coriander and cumin powder and ½ glass water.
- Cover the lid and cook for 5 min
- Add in the mutton and 1 ½ glass of water. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes on a medium flame.
- Open the lid and cook for few more minutes until the meat is completely tender.
- Now add the boiled bottle ground, half glass water and green chilies. And cook on a low heat for 5 minutes.
- Delicious loki gosht is ready Now garnish with chopped dhaniya.
