- Take 5-6 tbsp oil
- Take 1 tsp mustard seeds
- You need 2 dry red chillies
- Provide 3-4 green chillies chopped

- Prepare 1/4 cup Green peas
- You need 1/4 cup chopped valor
- You need 1/4 cup Green tuvar seeds

- Use 2 tbsp carrots chopped into pieces
- You need 1/4 cup potatoes chopped into big pieces
- Use 4-5 big pieces of suran (yam)
- Prepare 4-5 pieces sweet potatoes peeled and cut into pieces
- You need 2 pieces drumsticks cut into pieces
- Provide 2 raw bananas cut into big pieces
- Take 3 cups tomatoes cut into pieces
- Provide to taste Salt
- Take 2 medium pieces of jaggery
- You need For making methi gota
- Use 1 bunch methi leaves
- You need 1 small cup gram flour
- You need 1 Pinch red chilli powder
- Get 1/4 tsp dhania powder
- Get 1/4 tsp jeera powder
- Provide 1 tsp Oil for gota
- Prepare 1 Pinch soda
- Get to taste sugar
- Take to taste Salt,
- Get as needed water to make gota dough
- You need as needed Oil for frying
Instructions to make Undhiyu:
- In a big pan heat oil.Add mustard seeds.When mustard seeds crackle add curry leaves, red chillies green chillies and hing.
- Now add green peas, valor,farsi (French beans),tuvar seeds and saute the veggies for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Cauliflower, carrots and potatoes and stir all the vegetables.
- Close the lid for few minutes and let it simmer.
- Now add pieces of suran,Sweet potatoes,drum sticks and raw bananas and mix the veggies.
- Again close the lid to simmer
- Add tomatoes and salt.
- Mix all the vegetables.
- Now close the lid to allow the tomatoes and all the vegetables to soften.
- Let the tomatoes be soften and thick gravy forms in the Undhiyu.
- Keep the flame on medium.
- In a small bowl mix all the ingredients of methi gota and make a semi thick pakora like batter.
- Fry the methi gota in hot oil and add the got as in the Undhiyu. Mix well.
- Add jaggery.If u wish add red chilli powder according to your child's taste.
- Slow the flame and let a thick gravy form.
- After few minutes Off the flame and sprinkle chopped Coriander leaves.
- U can also pack this yummy Undhiyu for lunch box.
