- Wash Rice and all Dals,soak for more than half an hour.In a big Cooker put Oil, butter, put Jeera, whole garam masala (tezpatta, cloves,big and small Elachi, dalchini), saute for few minutes,add sliced Onions till it become pinkish brown,add Dals, stir it, now add Rice, put chopped tomatoes and add all spices including Salt.
