- Use 2 tb.spoon. jegary
- Get 3 Tb. Spoon. imli pulp
- You need 2 Tb fresh green coriander
Steps to make Mendu wada with sambhar:
- For Mendu wada:—— - Soak udad daal for 6 hr. Grind it without water. Then again keep it farmantaion for 8hr.
- Now take udad daal add salt, jeera, soda, onion, green chilli. Mix it well.
- Apply some water from the bowl on both your hands. take some batter in your right hand from the bowl. give it a round shape.with your thumb make a hole in the center.
- Heat oil in pan. Once the oil becomes hot, pour the medu vada into the hot oil.
- Cook on medium flame.drain medu vadas on kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.
- For Sambhar:—– - Wash dal, vegetables and cook in pressure cooker with3 cups water for 3 Whistles.
- Take pan. Heat oil. add hing, jeera, and Rai. Add Curry patta and dry red chilli. add Ginger garlic.
- Add chopped onion then add Tomatoes and drum sticks.
- Add all masala powder.Sprinkle some water on masala. fry it nicely on low flame.
- Add boil daal with vegetables. - Mix it. Add 1glass water. Add salt.
- Add jegary and Imli pulp. Cook it for 10 min.
- Garnish with fresh coriander. Serve it with Mendu Wada.
